ABOUT US

The Central Queensland Community Legal Centre Inc. is an idependant, non-profit organisation funded by grants made to it by the State and Federal Government, donations from the general public and from membership fees.

WE OFFER free advice to people in their local communities.

We also provide education to the local community about the law and the legal system, campaign for social justice and changes to unfair laws.

WE DO NOT decide who recieves legal assistance from Legal Aid.

We do not give advice on commercial or serious criminal offence issues.

Only very rarely do we provide individual representation at court.

Our Team

The CQCLC team consists of several full-time solicitors who are available from Monday to Thursday for appointments, either in person or via telephone. This practice is also supported by a full time and part-time administrator.

The Management Committee oversees the general direction of the Centre while the day-to-day operations are managed by the Centre's paid staff.
